Homework Week 1: What Should Mrs Joyce Tell The World About Kutoa While In Brazil?

Mrs Joyce To Present At Global Conference About Our Kutoa Classroom

3/4j this week Mrs Joyce needs your help. You all know that next week Mrs Joyce will travel to Brazil for the iEARN International Education Conference. Mrs Joyce will be presenting to teachers from all over the world  about the work we do in our classroom. Mrs Joyce will be focusing on our global work as members of the Kutoa Classroom team. This week for homework I would like you to help by looking on the Kutoa Website www.kutoa.org and giving me ideas about what Mrs Joyce should tell people about Kutoa.

I would like you to think and answer these questions as you compile your answers for me.

1. What is Kutoa?

2. How are we a Kutoa Classroom?

3. What do you like about being a Kutoa Classroom?

4. How teachers use Kutoa in their classrooms?

5. How does Kutoa help us learn about the world?

Mrs Joyce will also be looking for images and ideas, she would like you to create a sample Haiku Deck about Kutoa and our classroom. If you search under categories on the blog you will find Kutoa work we have done and pictures. You will also get so much from the website. There is a prize to this part of the homework. The best Haiku will be used in Mrs Joyces Presentation in Brazil. ‘Wow’ what an opportunity. Mrs Joyce is feeling extremely excited to be sharing our classroom and our work with Kutoa with many educators and friends of hers from around the world.

Have fun!!!!

PS Also take a look and let me know who you are voting for this month. Next week we will investigate this months options.

Guess what? This Months Theme is Syrian Refugees Mrs Joyces absolute passion.  syrian refugees

We would love for you to join our high school summer school class. Are you still learning AUSLAN?
We begin summer school this week. Perhaps you can write some questions for us? We will also ask you about Australia.

      Hello Arlene,
Unfortunately they stopped Auslan for the Senior grades at our school just for this year. But we would still love to join your High School Summer program and teach you about Australia. So lovely to hear from you 🙂
      Kind regards

Sounds wonderful Arlene. We can definitely teach your students about the awesome destination of Australia. One of the students have just returned from a holiday in Queensland so will have plenty to share. I am in Brazil from the 23/7 to the 3/8 so we can start asap. Even if we set up something and I can have the teacher taking my class finish anything up. So excited to be catching up with you again.
    Cheers
    Bron
