Homework Week 1: Donate A Book And Help the Children Of Kuku Village Learn #Globaled #Learning #Education #Support

3/4J Mrs Joyce is looking for books to help the children of Kuku Village, Fiji. Anyone you know that is kind enough to donate a picture story book (soft cover preferably) this would really help the children and teachers of Kuku Village, Fiji to better their education.

The teacher works with very little resources as you can see from the classroom pictures but has the most amazingly enthusiastic learners in his classroom. Mrs Joyce never asks for donations but this school has touched her heart and she would love to support them with the help of some resources. What a great way to start by sending them some picture story books to read and enjoy.

  1. How can we get the Liddiard Rd Community to help us support Kuku Village, Fiji?
  2. Choose someone who you would write a persuasive letter to and tell me why you chose that person. Think about significant people who may be able to donate a book e.g. local book shops, online book websites, family and friends, Liddiard Rd Staff, students of Liddiard Rd.
  3. By looking at the pictures how would you persuade them?

We can help them by donating them books, try to help make them make a new school or we might be able to show them @TheEllenShow and she might give them a 100 gift cards like what she did to the other school that we watched

i think the 3/4 teacher because he might be able to talk to builders and they help him get windows, doors, play equipment and a place to put their bags in the class or outside the class.

we should help them look at the school its broken they have no doors, windows,no books, they still have black boards, they need a place to put their bags inside the classroom and they need some play equipment.

We can help them by donating books to them and might be able to show them the @Ellen show. We can also pot things up on line for the teacher on a site.We can brig more equipment so for example like skipping rope or basketball.

2 Choose someone who you write a persuasive letter to and tell me why you choose that person.
I wound choose family and friends Liddiard Rd staff students of Liddiard Rd.
