Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp from the air
3/4J we have learnt so much about Camp Zaartari and the plight of the Syrian refugees that are fleeing their country looking for a safe place. Jordan over the past 4 years has taken in nearly one million refugees. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-35492705
I would like you to think about this crisis and critically analyse the following things:
- What is can Jordan do, they are running out of room to house all the new refugees?
- What would it be like to live in a temporary city like Camp Zaatari which now houses over 80,000 people?
- What were your thoughts when you saw Camp Zaartari from the sky via the video?
Here is the video to watch.
