80,000 People Are Now living In Camp Zaartari.#globaled #learning #refugees

Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp from the air

3/4J we have learnt so much about Camp Zaartari and the plight of the Syrian refugees that are fleeing their country looking for a safe place. Jordan over the past 4 years has taken in nearly one million refugees. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-35492705

I would like you to think about this crisis and critically analyse the following things:

  1. What is can Jordan do, they are running out of room to house all the new refugees?
  2. What would it be like to live in a temporary city like Camp Zaatari which now houses over 80,000 people?
  3. What were your thoughts when you saw Camp Zaartari from the sky via the video?

Here is the video to watch.
