Exhaustion Hits As 3/4J Travel, To 5 Countries In One Day

Today was declared Joy Sun Bear Day in 3/4J, Australia .If you have not taken a visit to www.joysunbear.com you must because the cartoon experience along with the global travelling perspective bring the world to the classroom.

We boarded the plane and off we went, first stop Sumatra. While visiting Sumatra the students made Joy Sun Bear Puppets.

After boarding the plane and ready for our next country, China was destination number two. While on the plane the students watched a video about Chinese New Year. Once in China it was lovely to see all the building and smell the wonderful food. It was off to make Chinese noise makers so we could join in the celebrations.

The best part of the day was a detour to America the meet the Joy Sun Bear Team. As the skype call connected the class were so excited to meet the creators of this fabulous learning website. We spoke for about 30 mins and the students asked lots of questions. The most inspiring part of the day was hearing a paragraph of the new Joy Sun Bear Book. That moment was so special.

After a quick trip to America, our travels continued on to Iran and then on to Iceland. The class is loving learning about Iceland. While we visited Iran the students made some outstanding persian rugs. In Iceland the students got to share a joke with locals, this joke was very special because it was written just for 3/4J. We felt like superstars. Mrs Joyce finished the day exhausted and will need an afternoon nap once school finishes but she will remember the smiles on the students faces through out the day. Priceless!!!!
