Here’s where I stand. In my game. The Olympic Games. In 1984. This is my chance. This is my destiny. There’s a rumble, and there is a tumble. I am the rumble. Not the tumble. The tumble is the worst case scenario. There goes the bullet. And there goes my legs. Dam it! Legs! Injury occurred. But it’s time to keep going. I’m not giving up. Nobody can turn me around. Back off, people! Nobody stops Gabriela Andersen! My pain, my nerves, my legacy. My legacy states, you can do it if you try. You just need to bring it. At least I tried. I did tumble. I am a failure. I still have time. I can make it right. The next next Olympic Games. More than enough time to recover, train, work hard to make sure I obtain gold. Gold, here I come!
