@christineieron “Getting global issues into a classroom creates compassion tolerance and action #athirstforhome

As global educators we are always looking for ways to engage our students. Christine’s book is must have for classrooms. We can not truly appreciate what is happening around the world without looking at the water crisis first.

Last year my students learnt that we may be warring about religions and oil but in the next 10 years we will see the world fighting over water.

Resources like Christine’s are a must in our classroom to provide examples for our students to build background knowledge and to develop call to actions.

Thank you for sharing. So happy to see movements toward a global classroom popping up around the world. Children of the world, unite!
